Here are some basic features included in Xero along with some additional Apps we recommend:

Xero Touch
Capturing expenses from credit and debit card transactions directly on your mobile phone is simple with Xero Touch.
Safeguard
Many businesses prefer to make all their payments online. However, if a more traditional payment method is needed, Xero can also print checks directly to PDF format.
Safeguard is a great resource for printable checks, with excellent service and competitive pricing.
To fully automate the process of documenting and recording bills, there are two Apps we recommend:
Hubdoc
Hubdoc is your online filing cabinet, providing an easy way to securely store and access important accounting documentation. When synced with Xero, coding rules can be established that automate basic expense entry.

Auto Entry
Auto Entry reads and imports detailed information from invoices and bills into Xero. They also do a fabulous job of converting bank and credit card statements into files that can be imported into Xero, so if you have some historical catching up to do, Auto Entry might just save the day.
- Pricing: based on transaction volume
Invoicing is crucial to most service businesses. Xero makes invoicing easy (even from a mobile phone)
Xero also has the ability to create Quotes, which can be relabeled as Estimates or Proposals, depending on the customary terminology in your particular industry.
Purchase orders related to jobs can also be created, tracked and converted to Bills in Xero.

Receiving payment from customers via PayPal, Stripe, and ApplePay is simple with Xero. If you prefer to receive ACH payments, Xero partners directly with GoCardless.
